Usher has thanked his fans for supporting him over the course of his lengthy music career and for sticking with him through "the hardest times" as well as the good.
The 'Climax' singer opened the iTunes Festival 2012 this month (1st September) with a performance at the Camden Roundhouse in London, and says a rendition of his David Guetta collaboration 'Without You' was done in tribute to fans for sticking by him in recent times.
"Absolutely man. I appreciate each and every one of those," Usher revealed to Capital, regarding recent support for the star on Twitter. "Which is why I performed 'Without You' to my fans last night.
"It was intended to be a very intimate moment, just to say thank you for all of their support," Usher explained. "You know, my fans are just loyal.
"They've been there with me through the hardest times, they've been there with me through my greater times."
At the end of July Usher suffered a family tragedy when his 11 year-old stepson Kyle Glover passed away after a accident during a family holiday.
