Katy Perry Has "Almost Finished" New Fragrance And Promises 2013 Release

The 'Teenage Dream' singer has signed a new deal to create more new fragrances for her fans.

Katy Perry has confirmed plans to release a brand new fragrance in 2013 after teaming up with beauty product manufacturer Coty Inc. as part of a new endorsement deal.

The 'Wide Awake' singer announced the new partnership this week, meaning the company will produce and distribute her previous fragrances Purr and Meow as well as working on new scents in the future.

Katy says her third perfume is now "almost finished" and expects it to be out within the next twelve months.

 "Coty has become my partner," Katy says in the new issue of Billboard. "We are working on the next fragrance, which is almost finished.

"Everything is like a year off," the 'Teenage Dream' signer explained, promising the fragrance will be out sometime next year. "It's not because we need the year, it just takes that much time."

Coty Beauty president Renato Semerari said in a statement: "Katy is original and daring [and] her unique approach to music and life will serve as the inspiration behind her innovative new scents and allow us to explore new avenues of scent creation."
