Teenagers Phone Stolen In Portsmouth

Police are appealing for information after two teenage boys were robbed in Portsmouth.

At some time between 6.30pm and 7pm on Saturday, November 19 the two victims, aged 15 and 16, were sat on a bench in the park area between Princess Street and Victoria Street, Buckland, listening to music on their mobile phones.
 
They were approached by a man who snatched the phone from the victim’s hand. He then threatened them, told them that he has a knife and told them to hand over more property. 
 
The victims then got up and walked backwards away from the man.  The man then cycled off on a red and silver coloured mountain bike, with the stolen HTC Desire S mobile phone.
 
Detective Constable Dave Anderson, said: 

“The location of this robbery is overlooked by a number of houses and flats. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened, or who saw the offender prior to or after the attack, to come forward and speak to us."
