A man will appear in court today (Friday 20th April) in connection with the death of a murder victim who was found in his burnt out car.
Afrin Lleshi, 36, of Shirley Road, Southampton faces one count of perverting the course of justice in relation to crane driver Agim Hoxha's death and will appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
Mr Hoxha, 29, of Cranbury Place, Southampton, was found in the burnt-out Mercedes in Chilworth Drove between 1am and 1.30am on Tuesday April 10.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary believe the keen footballer was killed before his vehicle was set on fire.
Detectives are still trying to trace the Mercedes' movement in the days before Mr Hoxha's murder.
They have now found the grey Ford Mondeo Zetec TDCI which also belonged to Mr Hoxha thanks to a member of the public who had seen their appeal for help.
The car, which was parked in Milton Road, Shirley, is being forensically examined.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the car in the Milton Road area over the Easter bank holiday weekend or on any other occasion to contact them. The cars registration number is HY58HYL.
Anyone with information about the car or any other information about the death of Mr Hoxha should call the operation Wedgewood Team at Hulse Road on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
