Missing Woman's Body Found
Police have confirmed that the body of a woman recovered in the Bickton area near Fordingbridge is that of 77 year old Mavis Hardy.
She was discovered by a dog walker on Wednesday, November 30th 2011. Mavis had been missing for more than two weeks.
The Coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death, which is not being treated as suspicious.
The family of Mavis Hardy have been informed.
