Mystery surrounds East Dunbartonshire stabbing

A man is in a serious condition after being stabbed in East Dunbartonshire.

The man was taken to hospital from the car park at the Asda in Bishopbriggs, although it is understood the incident did not happen there.

Police confirmed they were called to the area shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday.

A roundabout in nearby Torrance, which is believed to be linked to the stabbing, was also cordoned off.
