Boy Critical after Bolton Crash

A boy is fighting for his life in hospital today after a crash in Bolton.

Yesterday evening a Peugeot 206, Land Rover Discovery and Vauxhall Insignia collided on De Havilland Way in Horwich close to the junction with Lostock Lane.

The young boy, who was in the Peugeot 206, was freed by the fire service and he was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries.

His condition is described as critical.
