Two people who were arrested following the discovery of a man's body in Ripley have been released from custody.
Police were called to an address on Derby Road, Ripley by the ambulance service at about 12:30am on Tuesday September 27th 2011.
When they got there a 36 year old man was found dead and detectives are treating the death as suspicious.
He has been identified as Richard Peake, of Laurel Avenue, Ripley.
Two people, a 39-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were arrested in connection with the death.
The woman has been released without charge. The man has been bailed pending further inquiries.
A post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday but further tests are required to fully establish the circumstances of the death.
