More than 100 victims of anti-social behaviour and domestic violence helped.
Capital's been told that victims of things like anti-social behaviour and domestic violence in part of the East Midlands have seen a big improvement once surveillance cameras are put in their homes.
One person said that after the memo cam had been fitted - she felt she could answer her front door again - another person is thinking about using the images for a court case.
The camera's have been installed in more than 100 homes in Blaby in Leicestershire - by a group of community and police volunteers - and the idea has already won three national awards.
The volunteers believe it also saves the police force a lot of money in resources.
