Remembering Harry Moseley

Special celebrations are happening on Thursday 20th October to remember Birmingham boy Harry Moseley, who was voted Britain's Kindest Kid in 2009 for his fundraising for Brain Tumour UK.

11 year old Harry passed away at home in Sheldon earlier this month in the arms of his mum after fighting a brain tumour since 2007.

The funeral is taking place at Old Yardley Church with hundreds expected to attend to pay their respects.

Harry, whose charity is backed by the national football team as part of the England Footballers Foundation, met the squad earlier this year.

England captain John Terry said:

"His story has broken my heart. Harry has done so much for others. All the England lads will continue to support his legacy."

Since finding out about his disease Harry did endless charity work to raise money for brain cancer research and raised hundreds of thousands of pounds.

His charity Help Harry Help Others makes bracelets from coloured beads which were sold countrywide.

The Prime Minister has been spotted wearing one and actress Amanda Holden is a also a supporter.
