Will.i.am and Cheryl Cole are the latest stars to comment about the death of singer Whitney Houston.
The Black Eyed Peas star wrote that the 'Heartbreak Hotel' singer was "wonderful" and "amazing", while Cheryl tweeted a short and simple message after hearing the news of Whitney's death yesterday (11th February) in Los Angeles.
"I'm so sad," will.i.am tweeted earlier today (12th February). "Whitney Houston was so kind, sweet, wonderful, amazing, talented and a true gift to the world."
He added: "#iwillalwaysloveyou."
Cheryl simply posted: "So sad :-(."
Rihanna, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj have all paid tribute to the late singer and actress, after it was confirmed late last night that she had passed away at the age of 48.
The Los Angeles Police Department made a statement to the press confirming Whitney had been found dead in her hotel room in Los Angeles, although there were no signs of criminal intent, and have launched a full investigation into her death.
Whitney Houston was a world renowned singer who had sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos globally across her near thirty-year music career.
