The Black Eyed Peas rapper admits he couldn't wait to get the Britney Spears promo released so took a hands on approach.
Will.i.am has revealed that he paid for the music video shoot to his new Britney Spears single 'Scream And Shout' himself.
The 'This Is Love' star told the Evening Standard that he made the promo to keep fans happy in the UK and praised how influential the music across the pond is compared to America.
"I paid for the video myself." He said. "The U.K. was like, 'We want something now, hurry up, it's hot.' It used to be America, but right now the U.K. leads the world."
He continued: "I don't do OPM (other people's money). It takes too long. These ideas that I've had, if I'm thinking them then somebody else is about to do it.
"Right now you have got to go fast on things."
The track's release date has also recently been brought forward in the UK due to popular demand.
The single is also expected to feature on the rapper's new album, which was pushed back after his car was stolen earlier this year – with demos of new songs in the motor.
