The Black Eyed Peas man reportedly enquired about crashing at Clarence House during a recent visit.

Will.i.am has apparently asked Prince Charles if he could get a room inside the Royal's home at Clarence House.

The 'Great Times' rapper met with the Royal recently after donating £500,000 to the Prince's Trust and admitted he liked the look of his home.

"I told Prince Charles I was looking for a flat here and said, 'This is a big old crib you've got here. It's a big old house. So could I get a little space?'," he told The Sun newspaper.

During his appearance on the Graham Norton Show, Will explained the reason behind his huge donation and said it was a "thank you" to the people of the UK for accepting him during his time on The Voice UK.

The star also spoke about his plans to create a new song for a Mars mission which will send a signal back to earth beaming his new track for the first time once the rocket lands on the red planet.

Meanwhile, Will's new single 'This Is Love' – which was given a world premiere on Capital FM last month – has been named as the new Vodafone Big Top 40 number one this week.

Speaking on his Twitter account, the '3 Words' star said it was a dream come true.

He tweeted: "I am so happy to have a #1 itunes song...especially in the UK...thank you so much...#dreamscometrue with #willpower and love...#thisislove."

Will's album '#willpower' is expected to be released sometime this year and will feature collaborations with the likes of Justin Bieber and LMFAO.
