The 'Great Times' star surprised a youth group in London with an array of expensive gifts.

Will.i.am surprised a bunch of students at a youth music project in East London this weekend when he handed out £15,000 worth of MacBook computers.

The Black Eyed Peas man met around ten of the teenagers involved in the Prince's Trust Programme and offered them some expert advice after they performed some tracks for him.

"They performed songs they had been working on and he gave them loads of advice," a source told The Sun. "He really put in a lot of effort, comparing them to rappers like Nas and Busta Rhymes and suggesting business ideas and ways to promote their music.

"As he was leaving he said he'd give them all a MacBook to help and asked the Prince's Trust organisers to sort it out and bill him for the Apple gear. It was a great gesture."

Will is currently starring on The Voice UK alongside Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones and has told fans that he's turned his London hotel into a mini recording studio.

The star also recently premiered the London filmed video for his new single 'This Is Love' which he premiered on Capital FM for the first time earlier this month.
