Usher Thinks New Single 'Scream' Can Be The Song Of The Summer

The 'Climax' star admits his latest release is perfectly timed for the coming months.
Usher has confessed that although it wasn't his intention – he thinks his new single 'Scream' can be the song of the summer.
The 'Pop Ya Collar' star told MTV News that working with producer Max Martin was key in the track's development.
"Let's get going, summer is almost here," he rallied. "It's intended to be that, but I don't think that was the only thing. We thought about live performance, we thought about mixing and matching and also giving people an energy that only [producer Max Martin] would be able to create."
Upon the tracks first play last month, Capital listeners immediately hailed it as the track of the summer.
The song features on the R&B superstar's new album 'Looking For Myself' which is out now.
Usher previewed his seventh studio record with a unique live streamed show in London last night (11th June).
The star closed his Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012 set with the trackas he took to the stage in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.
Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and Jessie J also performed on the day alongside the likes of The Wanted, Rita Ora and Cheryl Cole.
