Eurovision 2012 Winner Loreen Scores Number One On Vodafone Big Top 40

Lawson enjoy top ten position with debut single 'When She Was Mine'.

Swedish pop singer Loreen has topped the Vodafone Big Top 40 less than 24 hours after winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.

The 28 year-old singer was named the winner last night (26th May) in Baku, Azerbaijan, after picking up a total of 372 points in the annual European music competition.

Lawson were the week's second highest new entry with their debut single 'When She Was Mine', which entered the Vodafone Big Top 40 straight in at number seven following the song's release earlier today (27th May).

US pop-rockers Fun. fall to number two this weekend with their worldwide smash 'We Are Young, while Carly Rae Jepsen stays strong at number three with her former number one single 'Call Me Maybe'.

Rihanna's latest 'Talk That Talk' release 'Where Have You Been' climbs up two places this week to number tour, while The Wanted's new single 'Chasing The Sun' rounds out the top five songs of the week after two weeks on the chart.

The Vodafone Big Top 40 with Rich and Kat airs every Sunday from 4-7pm.
