Chris Brown leads BET Awards nominations

Chris Brown leads the field at this year's Black Entertainment Awards after clocking up six nominations.

The 'Yeah 3x' singer has an impressive haul of nods including Best R&B Artist, Viewer's Choice and Video Of The Year for 'Look At Me Now'.

Brown immediately took to Twitter upon hearing the news. 'Thx to B.E.T. for all the support and I love you,' he wrote.

The nominations continue the star's comeback after he was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. 

Riri also has four nods in this year's nominations while Kanye West and Lil Wayne are not far behind Brown with five nominations.

The B.E.T. Awards ceremony will be held on June 26 at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium, according to MTV.com.
