Will.i.am Says The Queen Reminds Him Of His Mum: "She's Super Dope"

The 'Great Times' rapper says both his mum and the Queen have a lot of "strength and perseverance".

Will.i.am says he is a big fan of the Queen because she reminds him of his mum.

The Voice UK vocal coach has described Queen Elizabeth II as "super dope", ahead of this weekend's Diamond Jubilee celebrations to celebrate her sixtieth year on the throne.

"I love the Queen, she's super dope," will.i.am told the Daily Star this week. "She reminds me of my mum.

"I mean, my mum had no money and the Queen is obviously loaded, but just their strength and perseverance."

He added: "My mum is everything to me, she's my ideal woman."

Last week the Black Eyed Peas star unveiled the music video for his latest solo single 'This Is Love', which was filmed in London just outside Tower Bridge.

'This Is Love' will be released as will.i.am's next single on 24th June, and is taken from the rapper's upcoming fourth studio album '#willpower'.
