The 'Great Times' rapper says he was blown away by the strength of Britney's contestants on the music show.
Will.i.am has backed Britney Spears to be the winning mentor on The X Factor USA this year, after helping choose her acts at judges' houses earlier this week.
The 'This Is Love' rapper was Britney's guest mentor on the FOX series and has hailed contestant Carly Rose Sonenclar as one of the best singers he has heard.
Will.i.am tweeted Britney after the show telling her not to worry about the other judges because her teen category has a "superstar" in there.
"When I heard her sing I said, 'this show's finished'," will.i.am posted to the 'Criminal' singer. "You have a good problem on your hands #soMUCHtalent.
"The singers @britneyspears has on tonight's #xfactorUSA have reminded me how #powerful the #youth are… these kids Brit has are so talented.
'I Wanna Go' singer Britney also posted to thank will.i.am for his role in helping select the acts for her first year on the show.
"@iamwill Couldn't have asked for a better friend to help me with them - they are definitely the future of music," Britney posted, while will.i.am picked out on contestant in particular, 13 year-old Carly Rose Soneclar.
"#carlyROSE is one of the best singers I have ever heard… 13years old and amazing…I Predict she wins the entire competition," will.i.am posted, to which Britney finally added: "I still can't believe she's only 13 years old! So impressed!"
