The 'OMG' singer says he hopes to "move" people with his latest release from forthcoming album 'Looking For Myself'.
Usher has revealed that he hopes his new single 'Scream' will be "life changing" and help people enjoy themselves.
The 'Climax' singer told MTV that he thinks the song can help people going through a "crazy" time in their lives as they head to the club.
"If I'm gonna move you, I want to move you. I hope that it could be something that could be life changing," the R&B star said. "You may be going through something real crazy, who knows, and just need to get out and just enjoy yourself. So I always think about the club, I always think about that song that will be able to let you out of that slump, if you're in it."
However, Usher also admitted the track isn't intended simply to aid those looking for escapism – it has numerous uses.
"If you're just ready to have a good time, or if you're working out and you just need that little motivation to push you over the edge, there you go," he explained.
The 'Pop Ya Collar' star recently unveiled a new Pharrell Williams featuring song 'Twisted' during his chat with MTV which will also feature on his upcoming seventh studio album, which is released on 12th June.
