The producer has revealed details about the 'Pass Out' star's latest record, 'Demonstration'.
Tinie Tempah is reportedly working with Diplo on a new "heavy and electronic" sound for his forthcoming second album.
The US producer, who has worked with artists such as Usher, Beyonce and No Doubt, revealed that the rapper came to him directly.
"Rather than go through his management, Tinie reached out to me directly, which I really respected," he told the Daily Star. "We've been going back and forth on our tracks, but they sound in the vein of the rap stuff I've previously produced – hard and heavy and electronic."
Diplo is also currently working with Rihanna and Bruno Mars on new material, calling the 'Marry You' singer's new songs "genius pop music".
Tinie announced the title of his album 'Demonstration' during the BRIT Awards earlier this year.
Expected in October, the album is said to feature collaborations from superstar artists such as Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris.
Tinie Tempah was also recently revealed to have worked with Calvin on his new album '18 months', alongside such stars as Rihanna, Example and Florence & The Machine
He also featured in the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony - performing with Jessie J and Taio Cruz.
