Take That's Gary Barlow denies X Factor rumours

Take That's Gary Barlow has denied reports that he is set to become a judge on The X Factor.

The move comes after Star Magazine claimed he could be on the verge of clinching a £2 million deal with Simon Cowell.

But a spokesperson for Barlow denied the rumours and said he hadn't even been contact with the music industry mogul, according to The Metro.

'There is no truth in these reports,' a statement added.

Meanwhile, bosses for the US version of the show said no decision will be made on Cheryl Cole's fate until the end of next month, reports The Sun.
