The 'Avalon' rapper says he is ging for a heavier and more live sound for his third studio outing.
Professor Green has revealed how his team-up with Miles Kane came about on new single 'Are You Getting Enough?' and says the song was written about "greed and gluttony".
The 'Never Be A Right Time' rapper collaborated with Miles on the lead single from his new studio album, and says the song is illustrative of what fans can expect from the full record.
"It started with Miles," Professor Green confirmed to The Sun this week. "He wrote the song then didn't use it on his albums.
"We changed it a lot, with heavier guitars," the UK rapper explained. "It's about consumerism, not in a preachy way, I can't stand that s**t. It's about greed and gluttony.
I'm a victim of it. If a new iPhone comes out I'm straight there, even though I don't use any apps, apart from Twitter, which I use far too much," he added.

Professor Green went on to say his new album 'Growing Up In Public' is "heavier" and more about live music than his previous two solo albums have been.
"I've got a new label but the people know where they are going," he explained. "There are more live guitars and it's heavier. 'Avalon', the last single from the last album, is a big hint at where I'm going.
"It's been really fun this time to get in the studio with people who play in my band," the rapper added.
Professor Green releases new single 'Are You Getting Enough?' on 22nd July with new album "Growing Up In Public' out 14th October.
