The 'Payphone' band want fans to submit contributions for their new single's upcoming music video project.

Maroon 5 have announced 'Daylight' as their latest single to be released from recent album 'Overexposed'.

The 'Moves Like Jagger' band confirmed the news on their official website and issued a call out for fan to contribute to the 'Daylight' music video, set to be helmed by 'Telephone' director Jonas Akerlund.

"We need YOUR help for our next music video," Maroon 5 posted to announce their 'Daylight' video project. "We're asking YOU to share 'YOUR STORY', and that recording may be handpicked to appear in the video for our third single, 'Daylight', directed by Jonas Akerlund.

"As different as we all are there are common themes that bring us together, inspire and show everyone what is important today," Adam said of the video, while director Jonas added: "With this video, we'll present the world today and beyond, creating more than just a music video. The heartbeat of this project will be Maroon 5's 'Daylight'."

'Daylight' will be the third single to be lifted from Maroon 5's fourth studio album 'Overexposed', following the release of 'Payphone' and 'One More Night'.
