Kelly Clarkson Announces New UK October Arena Tour 2012

The 'Dark Side' singer will head out on a five-date outing later this year with support from Cover Drive.

Kelly Clarkson has announced details of a new UK arena tour which will see her play five dates across England and Scotland in Autumn.

The 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' singer will kick off her jaunt with a gig at the Manchester Arena on Friday 12th October before heading to the likes of Birmingham and Sheffield.

The American star will finish her series of shows with a date at London's Wembley Arena on Saturday 20th October.

Support for the shows will come in the form of Bajan band Cover Drive.

Meanwhile, the star stepped out for the Entertainment Weekly and ABC Upfronts Party in New York last night (15th May) and will soon be launching her new music reality show Duets alongside the likes of John Legend.

Kelly Clarksonn's full UK arena tour 2012 dates are as follows:

Manchester, Manchester Arena – 12th October
Birmingham, LG Arena – 14th October
Glasgow, Braehead Arena – 16th October
Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena – 18th October
London, Wembley Arena – 20th October

Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday 18th May at 9am.

Kelly will also be heading to the UK this June for the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012 performing on the same stage as the likes of Jessie J, Katy Perry and Coldplay.
