The 'Roar' singer is said to have even suggested having tarantulas on her face in her latest video.
Katy Perry was "game for anything" on the set of her jungle-themed music video for 'Roar', the promo's directorial duo have revealed.
'Roar' directors Grady Hall and Mark Kudsi have revealed the 'Part Of Me' singer was fearless on the set of the video, which sees Katy star opposite a host of real-life jungle animals in the Tarzan-themed promo.
"She was game for anything," Grady revealed to MTV News after the video's premiere last week. "We'd say to her, 'All right, what about tarantulas?'
"And she'd perk up and say, 'Hey, I can put one on my face!'" he recalled. "The vine-swinging, getting up there in the trees, standing on top of a waterfall, there was no hesitation.
"It was amazing, she jumped at the opportunities and loved it," fellow director Mark Kudsi added. "After he first time we threw out some ideas to her [and] we got a sense she was game and we tried to up it, and there wasn't one thing she said no to!"
