Katy Perry To Perform New 'Prism' Song At MTV EMAs 2013 In November

The 'Teenage Dream' star promises a unique performance at the awards show in Amsterdam.

Katy Perry has been announced as the first confirmed performance for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards 2013.

The 'Roar' singer will take to the stage in Amsterdam next month for the big awards show, where she is expected to perform a brand new song called 'Unconditionally' live on stage.

"I'm so excited to return to the EMA stage!" Katy announced in a press release confirming the performance. "I have tailor-made a performance of a brand new song from 'Prism' to share with fans from around the world on November 10."

Katy is the first confirmed performer for the annual awards ceremony, with this year's even seeing Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis tied for the most nominations.

The past month has seen 'Part Of Me' singer continuing to tease her new album 'Prism' with new songs released online, ahead of the record's official launch on 21st October.

The MTV EMAs 2013 takes place live from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Holland on 10th November.
