Jessie J Was T In The Park Organiser's First Pick For 2012 Festival

The Scottish festival's organiser says the the 'Who You Are' singer as one of their first choices to perform this year.

Jessie J was one of the first acts to be booked up for this year's T In The Park Festival, according to the event's director.

The 'Domino' singer was confirmed as part of the 2012 line-up for the Scottish festival earlier today (23^rd February) and director Geoff Ellis says they are "delighted" to have her for the event.

"I’m a big fan of Jessie J and it was really disappointed when she had to cancel due to injury," Geoff told the Daily Record, regarding Jessie' leg injury in summer 2011. "We all said from that moment she would be one of the first acts to be booked for 2012.

"I'm delighted to have her and sure the fans will be, too," he continued. "I saw her at The BRITs and she has such star quality. It's all set to be an amazing performance."

The 'Who You Are' singer is currently working on her second studio album and recently admitted she is considering a more acoustic musical direction for her next record. 

Jessie J will perform at T in the Park Festival 2012 alongside acts including David Guetta, Labrinth, Tinie Tempah, Rizzle Kicks, Calvin Harris, Example and Emeli Sande.

T in the Park Festival 2012 runs on the weekend of the 6^th to 8^th July.
