The 'Domino' singer says she wants to feel able to "grow" in terms of her hairstyle and fashion choices.
Jessie J says she wants to give herself a style makeover now she is more established in the music industry.
The 'Domino' star says she wants to be able to "grow" and develop her look, after feeling like her trademark catsuits and hairstyle have made her look "like a cartoon character".
"I started to look like a cartoon character with the fringe and the catsuits," Jessie told Grazia in this week's issue of the magazine. "I ended up looking like a transvestite.
"I want to change my hair, change my style," Jessie explained. "I want to be allowed to grow."
The 'LaserLight' singer also named getting performing live in front of her fans as the best thing about her job.
She added: "I get to go out on stage and see thousands of people singing the words to my songs and that is, for me, the dream experience."
Last week Jessie added new London and Manchester dates to her upcoming 'Nice To Meet You' 2012 UK arena tour, which is set to kick off at the Capital FM Nottingham Arena on 26th February.
Jessie J is also working on the follow-up to her 2011 debut album 'Who You Are', and says she can't wait for fans to get the chance to hear songs from it.
