Jessie J Confirms New Song 'Hero' For Kick-Ass 2 Soundtrack

The 'Who You Are' singer reveals another new song as part of the new superhero epic.

Jessie J has confirmed she has written a song for the soundtrack of upcoming superhero sequel Kick-Ass 2.

The 'Domino' star revealed on Twitter that she has penned and recorded a song called 'Hero' for the Jeff Wadlow directed film, which reunites original cast members Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz on screen.

"YES this is true! Finally something that's trueeeee! It's called Hero," Jessie tweeted in response to a fan question about the rumour.

"It's about being your own hero and not having to need a super hero to save you," the UK singer also revealed to Glamour, when asked about the project.

Jessie also confirmed that rumours she and Ed Sheeran have a song on her new album are not true, despite often admitting they would love to work together one day.

Last week saw Jessie reveal that rumours her new album is called 'Gold' are not true either, telling fans to "keep guessing".

The 'Who You Are' singer confirmed last week that she will not be returning as a coach on The Voice UK next year in order to focus on her music and touring commitments.

Jessie J is expected to return with her second album later this year after the huge success of lead single 'Wild'.
