The 'Domino' singer says recent rumours about the record's one-word title are not correct.

Jessie J has denied this week's rumours that her brand new album is called 'Gold'.

Reports surfaced through the 'LaserLight' star's interview with Glamour magazine that her second studio album would be titled 'Gold', but the 'Do It Like A Dude' singer took to Twitter to deny the claims yesterday (4th July).

After a fan tweeted Jessie directly to ask her about the rumours and whether or not they were true the UK singer-songwriter jokingly replied: "*family fortunes noise* eggh egggghhhhhh* #fail #tryagain #keepguessing Muhahahaha."

Jessie previously told Capital the title of her follow-up to 2011 debut 'Who You Are' is just one word that she said regularly on her last record, and promised fans it will be "so obvious" when they finally hear it.

The 'Domino' star returned with lead single 'Wild' last month featuring Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal, and has promised the record's second single will have a more "straight-up pop" sound.
