Jessie J Takes A Break From Recording New Album For Los Angeles Shopping Trip

The 'Who You Are' singer dressed casual while pictured out shopping with a friend in LA.

Jessie J took a short break from recording her new album for a shopping trip out in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The 'Domino' singer was spotted out with a friend in the Californian city running some errands, and dressed down for the occasion with little make-up and casual clothing, before being spotted returning to the recording studio.

Jessie opted for a simply grey skirt and white-shirt underneath a green biker jacket for her trip out on Saturday (27th October), while wearing her short hair down with a swept-over fringe.

The 'LaserLight' singer flew out to California at the start of October to begin work on the follow-up to her 2011 debut 'Who You Are', and recently said she was "loving every moment" of the recording process for her next record.

Jessie recently revealed she has written a song for the new album which would be perfect if recorded as a duet with Rihanna, and has previously spoken of her desire to record a collaboration with both Tinie Tempah and good friend Ed Sheeran.

This week saw a new Jessie J song leaked online called 'Crazy For You', which features on the soundtrack for new Hollywood movie The Silver Linings Playbook.

Jessie J is expected to continue working on her new album for the remainder of 2012 before returning to the UK next year for her 'Nice To Meet You' arena tour.
