The 'On The Floor' singer says it is "hurtful" that people believe she had anything to do with the situation.
Jennifer Lopez has denied claims she had anything to do with a hotel maid being sacked for requesting an autograph from the 'Goin' In' singer.
Pray Dodaj was working as a maid at the Melia Hotel in Dusseldorf, Germany this week, where Jennifer was staying on her current European tour, when she reportedly knocked on the star's door to ask for an autograph.
Pray has since claimed she was fired on the phone the next day because Jennifer had complained about the disturbance, but the pop singer took to Twitter last night to clarify the situation.
"C'mon though you knew me better than this," Jennifer tweeted yesterday (6th November). "Would never get anyone fired over an autograph. 1st I heard of this was on Twitter. #hurtful.
The maid says she was turned away by two assistants at the 'On The Floor' singer's door, before receiving a phone call the next day to let her know she had been fired with immediate effect.
"I cleaned on her floor. And I am an incredibly big fan so I took all my courage and rang the bell to get an autograph," Dodaj revealed to German paper Bild this week. "But I was rejected by two assistants at the door.
"A day later the cleaning company that employed me at the hotel called and said that Ms Lopez had complained," she explained. "I was fired right there on the phone, because of an autograph."
The hotel's director has stood by the company's decision to fire the maid for disturbing his hotel guests.
