The '99 Problems' rapper played a prank on Kanye after his infamous Taylor Swift gaffe back in 2009.
Jay-Z played a prank on his Watch The Throne partner Kanye West at last night's BET Awards 2012 when he jokingly interrupted the latter during their acceptance speech.
In a playful nod to Kanye famously interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Jay-Z teased the 'All Of The Lights' rapper while they accepted the nod for Video Of The Year.
As Kanye began to thank people for the success of their 2011 single 'Otis', Jay-Z pushed in front of the microphone and shouted, "Excuse me Kanye, I'm gonna let you continue but…"
The prank sparked a hugely positive reception from the audience, with Jay-Z and Kanye sharing a huge and laughing together at the latter's expense.
Jay-Z and Beyonce were up against each other in the Video of the Year category, and shared some playful punches with each other after the '99 Problems' rapper was named winner of the award.
