The '99 Problems' rapper wants a private island to help his family get away from the spotlight for quality time.

Jay-Z is reportedly set to splash out two million pounds on a private island for him and Beyonce to holiday on.

The 'Empire State Of Mind' rapper is said to be planning to buy the land out in the Bahamas, in North Abaco, to mark the couple's fifth wedding anniversary this year.

Jay-Z is allegedly keen to have somewhere for her and 'Love On Top' singer Beyonce to take daughter Blue Ivy so they can spend quality time away from all the cameras and spotlight of their lives.

"Jay's been looking for a private island for the family," a source told The Sun this week. "He wants to turn it into his own Necker Island like Richard Branson.

"He's getting it partly to mark their fifth wedding anniversary but also, with Bey back in the spotlight, it's getting impossible for them to do normal things such as go to the beach with Blue," they explained. "A private island means they'll be able to have quality time with minimum staff and security."

Beyonce is preparing to announce details of her new studio album in the coming weeks before launching her 'The Mrs. Carter Show' world tour.
