The 'Parachute' singer says the Olympic athlete is too young for her.
Cheryl Cole has put an end to rumours suggesting she fancies Team GB star Tom Daley by admitting the Olympic medal winner is too young for her.
The 'Call My Name' singer and bronze medal winner Tom had exchanged messages on Twitter during the Olympic Games after his victory in the men's 10m diving final, with Cheryl joking that he could teach her to swan dive.
However, Cheryl has now said although she respects 18 year-old Tom as an athlete for his huge success at the Games, she feels too old to date the diving prodigy.
"Him winning the medal and all that was really good for our country," Cheryl told Capital FM, when asked about Tom's recent Olympic medal win.
"I mean, if I was 10 years younger then probably!" Cheryl added, when asked if she would ever go out with the 18 year-old sports star.
Tom Daley recently spoke out about having a crush on Cheryl, revealing he has her calendar in his bedroom, and admitting it would be "too embarrassing" to ask the singer out on a date.
