Cheryl Cole ready for a baby?

Cheryl Cole may have a lot on her plate career-wise right now but it looks like close friend Derek knows exactly how to take her mind of things.

Hough has been celebrating the arrival of his new nephew and it seem the photos of the new arrival have made our Geordie pop-princess a little broody!

A pal of Derek's told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl sent a beautiful basket of gifts when Quaid was born last week.

"She also sent Derek's sister a gorgeous note of congratulations along with the basket, which included a baby bath towel, teddy bears, dummies, an embroidered bib and organic bath products."

The source added: "Cheryl has been gushing over the pictures and admitted to Derek they make her broody. She's made no secret of the fact she wants to be a mum some day soon.

"She's not in the happiest of places right now so Derek is trying to cheer her up."
