The 'Call My Name' singer says she has seen some fans at the band's gigs ever since the beginning.

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has posted a message thanking some of the band's fans for sticking by them ever since the start of their career.

The 'Something New' singer says she keeps on seeing "the same faces" that she remembers from each of their past tours, and believes it is pretty "amazing" that they have been so loyal.

Last night Girls Aloud bought their 'Ten' UK arena tour to Sheffield, after kicking it off in Cheryl's home city of Newcastle last week.

"Wow! It is pretty amazing to see some of the same faces night after night that we have performed to since our very first tour!!" Cheryl tweeted, before later adding: "Sheffield! I can hearrrrr youuuuuu!!"

The 'Call My Name' singer's bandmate Sarah Harding was similarly appreciative of the Sheffield crowd, tweeting: "Thank u sheffield! U were amazing tonite! Wish we had one more nite at least with u!! X."
