BEYONCE & JAY-Z ON AIR COMPETITION ON THE CAPITAL NETWORK
TUESDAY 19TH AUGUST - THURSDAY 21ST AUGUST 2014
The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ apply to the ‘Beyonce & Jay-Z’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 19/08/14 to 21/08/14 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is: The Capital Network.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must:
Identify and text in, when they hear a Beyonce and a Jay-Z song played back to back. The songs can be played in any order (e.g. Beyonce followed by JayZ or JayZ followed by Beyonce).
Send a text message with the keyword PARIS to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). The text system will not recognize any other format of the keyword
Text messages will be charged at £1.00 plus your standard network rate.
Entrants must text during the duration of the second song. If they text after the end of the second song they will not be entered but may still be charged. Global Radio is not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of your text message to us.
1.2 Once the text lines have closed a winner will be selected at random from all the correct entries and called back. A call will be recorded with the winner and played out on air.
1.3 All entrants will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If entrants fail to answer their phone, are driving, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random.
1.4 You can enter each round of the competition a maximum of 3 times. We strongly advise against excessive use.
Eligibility
2.1.1 Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
2.1.2 Entrants must hold a valid passport with minimum 6 months remaining before expiry.
Prize
3.1 A pair of tickets to see Beyonce & Jay-Z in Paris on September 12th with direct flights to Paris and 1 nights accommodation in a 4* hotel and breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant.
3.2 Winner and friend must be available to travel on Friday 12th September 2014 and return on Saturday 13th September 2014. Departure airport used will be a London airport, which may not be the winners nearest and may be indirect. Non UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges.
3.3 Hotel is classed as a 4 star and is based on two people sharing a standard twin room with en-suite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is centrally located in the 15th arrondissement.
3.4 Tickets will be for the dates stated only and are non-transferrable. Tickets are subject to availability at the time of purchase.
3.5 The prize is non-transferrable and no cash alternative is available.
3.6 Global Radio reserves the right to change the prize or any part of it at any time.
3.7 The promoter is Global Radio Services Ltd.
