Union J Admit They Are "Trekkies" At London Premiere Of Star Trek: Into Darkness

The four-piece band have been praising the "incredible" new Star Trek sequel after its UK premiere.

Union J say they were left "fan dudeing" at the premiere of the new Star Trek movie in London last night (2nd May).

The 'Carry You' four-piece suited up to walk the red carpet on Thursday evening alongside a host of stars from director JJ Abrams' latest outing for the sci-fi franchise.

Star Trek: Into Darkness reunites the cast of his 2009 reboot starring the likes of Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto, and the Union J boys were tweeting about their excitement all night.

"FAN DUDEING AT THE STAR TREK PREMIERE!!!" George tweeted live from the London premiere on Thursday (2nd May). "White carpet was soo soft! #trekkie George! X."

"Star Trek was incredible!!!!!! Such a good film! Josh x," his bandmate Josh added.

The X Factor UK stars unveiled the music video for their debut single 'Carry You' at the start of this week, to unanimous praise from their fans on Twitter.

Union J are also set to perform live at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 this summer on 9th June at Wembley Stadium.
