The 'Hall Of Fame' stars admit they are up against some strong competition in the International Group category.

The Script have spoken to Capital FM after they scored a nomination for International Group at the BRIT Awards 2013.

The 'Six Degrees Of Separation' stars said it was "nice" to get the nod and found it "shocking" as they looked at some of the stars they are up against in the category.

Asked how it felt to get the nod, frontman Danny O'Donoghue said: "Really, really nice. Considering the company that we're in there with – it's shocking."

The band will go up against Las Vegas stars The Killers, Fun., Alabama Shakes and the Black Keys for the prize.

The nomination is the band's second following from their 2011 nod in the same category.

Emeli Sande leads the nominations for this year's event with a total of four including two in Best British Single with Capital FM.
