My Chemical Romance posted a mysterious black and white image and fans immediately drew comparisons to The Patient character from their iconic ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’ video.
We’ve been pretty excited since My Chemical Romance made their surprising comeback late last year. But aside from announcing a bunch of new tour dates, we’ve yet to hear any new music from the band.
Some fans think that might all be about to change though. Yesterday evening (Jan 14), the band posted a mysterious black and white image of what seems to be a person draped in a cloth in a hospital room, accompanied by a vampire emoji.

But what could it mean?
Fans immediately drew comparisons to the band’s The Black Parade album and The Patient character from their iconic ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’ video.
Others suggested that the vampire emoji links back to the band’s first album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love.
Obviously these are just fan theories and nothing is confirmed yet but just imagine how epic a Black Parade sequel would be?
Are y'all seeing this too or am I the only one...? https://t.co/MtBJRsw61E pic.twitter.com/ZoQBJ0oNMK

Seems like they’re reviving the vampire idea from when they first started

is it just me, or does it look like an angel under the sheet?

like it's sitting up, but their head is hanging down in the middle and the side bumps are their wings?https://t.co/xZTWOB74Ur
As we look to the sharp edge of that small part above....”We're hanging out with corpses” and it really looks like one of those scary hospitals you can find on old horror movies. So we have first a skull and now a vampire, that could probably represent gee..

first a skull emoji, now a vampire. are you guys doing your 4 albums through emojis?

skull is the black parade
vampire is bullets bc vampires will never hurt you??
are you doing this to show there is a new album?
Could this mean The Patient is returning? Is there going to be a sequel of some sort to The Black Parade? We have no idea, but *something* exciting is definitely happening.
