Rizzle Kicks Criticise Modern Hip-Hop Music: "I Don't Find That Inspiring"

The 'Traveller's Chant' pair say there is a "lack of intelligence" in the musical genre at the moment.
Rizzle Kicks have revealed they feel disappointed by the current state of hip-hop in the music industry.
'Mama Do The Hump' duo Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule are currently preparing to return with their second studio album, but say too much hip-hop music now is based around each artist's ego.
"My personal take on hip-hop isn't really being satisfied currently," Jordan Stephens revealed to the Daily Star this week. "There's a big thing in America, a big hip-hop vibe that I feel is quite ego orientated and I don't find that inspiring.
"There are hip-hop artists who are able to say things that are phenomenal," he admitted, citing Eminem as "one of the bet poets ever", before adding: "There are other greats, but maybe there's a lack of intelligence."
