Professor Green has said he is keen to reconnect with The Streets' Mike Skinner.
The 'Read All About It' rapper used to be signed to Mike's label The Beats, but has since lost touch with his former employer.
"We worked on a record and I've not heard from him since. I don't have a number for him," he said.
" I still speak to loads of people who are around him, but not him. I don't think he's in a particularly brilliant place.
"I always liked Mike. He was always different, but he's an artist and artists do tend to have their quirks and their own ways. But it'd be nice to hear from him, I thought we were mates. We've never so much as argued, so it would be nice to know if he's all right, really, and what's going on with him."
Professor Green also told the NME that it was a "blessing in disguise" that his career never took off when he was signed to The Beats.
Pro Green's new album 'At Your Inconvenience' is released on 28th October.
