The 'Read All About It' star chats to Capital FM about the singer's recent birth.
Professor Green has said he is sure Lily Allen is happy after giving birth to her first child.
The 'Smile' star is thought to have given birth to a baby girl at the end of last month, but has so far only thanked her fans on Twitter for their well wishes.
Speaking to Capital FM, Professor Green, who worked with Lily on the song 'Just Be Good To Green', confirmed he had received a text from the star after she gave birth.
"I have , I have," he said. "I got a text saying, 'I'm a mum'."
"Brilliant. I'm sure she's the happiest she's ever been."
Professor Green made a surprise appearance alongside Emeli Sande at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball in London last weekend.
The pair performed the rapper's song 'Read All About It' at the O2 Arena. You can relive all the performances from the Jingle Bell Ball now.
