The 'Moves Like Jagger' band say their upcoming fourth record is their most pop-oriented to date.
Maroon 5 have confirmed plans to launch their fourth studio album in June.
The 'She Will Be Loved' band have named the album 'Overexposed', and singer Adam Levine has promised the record will be one of their "most diverse and poppets albums yet".
The five-piece group scored huge success last year with their single 'Moves Like Jagger', which was written as a collaboration with other songwriters, and are hoping to replicate the same success with their new record.
"'Moves Like Jagger' was the first time we ever worked with an outside writer so we decided to try it some more on this record," guitarist Jamie Valentine said of the release, reports Rolling Stone. "At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band.
He added: "This is our most 'pop' record ever and we weren't shy about really going for it."
Earlier this month frontman Adam confirmed plans to launch his own fragrance called '222' by this time next year.
Maroon 5's new album 'Overexposed' will be officially released on 26th June.
