The 'Moves Like Jagger' stars enjoy their third stint at the summit of the US chart rundown.

Maroon 5 have hit the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart with their latest single release 'One More Night'.

The 'She Will Be Loved' stars notched their third number one on the chart following the success of 'Moves Like Jagger' and back in 2007 with hit 'Makes Me Wonder'.

The latest track achieved its highest position on the chart 13 weeks after it first debuted in the Hot 100 and climbed one place from the number two spot last week.

The song was the second to be lifted from the band's latest album 'Overexposed' following 'Payphone' – which peaked at two on the Hot 100.

Elsewhere on the chart, Taylor Swift fell to number two with 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and Fun climbed to their highest position yet with 'Some Nights' at three.

The top five was made up with Flo Rida's 'Whistle' and Pink's 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)'.

The top ten also featured tracks by the likes of Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding and Neon Trees.

Meanwhile, Maroon 5 were recently confirmed as the first act on the line-up for the Grammy Awards 2013 nominations ceremony.

The band also reached out to their fans this week to assist in the making of the music video for their latest single 'Daylight'.
