The 'Moves Like Jagger' man jokes that he tried to reassure the manager that his tiger inking wasn't real.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has confessed that he was asked to leave a gym in Korea because of his tattoos.

The 'One More Night' singer took to his Twitter account yesterday (16th September) to recall the incident to his fans.

"They tried to kick me outta the gym in Korea because I had tattoos," he declared. "I assured them it wasn't a real tiger and it wouldn't harm anyone. They didn't think this was funny. Thank GOD they didn't see the shark."

He also made light that he attempted to cool the tension by perfroming the popular dance from PSY's viral hit 'Gangram Style'.

"The manager totally stonewalled me. I sang Gangam Style and did the dance and everything. Silence. the cops didn't like it either," he added.

He continued: "All misunderstandings aside, Korea was #maximumawesome. Thank you!!! Manila here we come!!!"

The singer was on a promotional tour with the band at the time for their 'Overexposed' world tour.

Adam is also preparing to make his acting debut in the upcoming series of American Horror Story and has also been filming alongside Keira Knightley in the new movie Can A Song Save Your Life?
