Leona Lewis On Liam Payne Romance Rumours: "We See Each Other When We Can"

The 'Collide' singer says the two music stars have a surprising amount in common with each other.

Leona Lewis says people would be "surprised" how much she and One Direction star Liam Payne have in common.

The 27 year-old singer, who is rumoured to be dating 19 year-old boy band star Liam, says the two try to see each other when they can, but has yet to officially confirm whether they are in a romantic relationship.

"You'd be surprised how much we have in common," Leona revealed in this week's Look magazine. "He's great.

"We see each other when we can," the 'Trouble' singer added.

Leona also opened up about whether it is easy for music stars to date someone else also in the industry, and says it can often be more difficult because of how busy they both get.

"It can be easier [to have a famous boyfriend], but it can also make it harder because they're as busy as you are," she explained. "I like relationships to start with friendship.

"I've had times where I've just been instantly attracted and gone straight into a relationship, and it's never worked," Leona added.

Earlier this week Liam joined his One Direction bandmates to perform 'Little Things' in front of the Queen at the annual Royal Variety Performance show, which is set to air for the first time on 3rd December.

One Direction launched their new album 'Take Me Home' last week which has gone on to give them their second number one in America on the US Billboard Top 200 chart this week.
