The 'Earthquake' star says he was meant to hook up with the 'Lightning' stars and admits it might happen in the future.

Labrinth has confessed that he was once meant to work with The Wanted and is hopeful that a collaboration could still be on the cards.

The 'Let The Sun Shine' star told Capitalfm.com that their busy schedules meant the planned duet unfortunately couldn't go ahead and admitted he was pleased to see the 'Warzone' stars come down to his recent UK tour.

He said: "It was unlucky that we didn't get to meet after the show I think they had to do something but it was nice having them down in the building – a few extra girls turned up to say hello and yer - it was mad.

"Actually I was supposed to work with them a while ago. I remember their A&R was setting up for me to work with them but we were just so busy so you never know it might happen in the future."

Meanwhile, Usher recently told Capital that he is working with Labrinth on his new album and is an admirer of the British star's work.
